Job summary

Vivmark Residential, formed from AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential, seeks a Multisite Maintenance Technician to support two or more apartment communities. You will be accountable for delivering on resident commitments, handling move-ins, and ensuring express service and personal attention.

You will respond to service requests, perform make-ready work, maintain common areas, and assist in upholding the brand promise through superior customer service and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Hands-on general service maintenance experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting preferred.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required if operating a vehicle.
• Must communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• Must be able to work weekends and respond to emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns promptly.
• Performs various maintenance functions.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; keeps them clean.
• On-call emergency service as required.
• Performs special maintenance projects as assigned.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Service Manager.
• Follows the scheduled maintenance program.
• Knows apartment housing laws and internal policies.
• Attends required training and represents the company professionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
