Qualifications

• Hands-on general service maintenance experience required.
• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience required.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and Type II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required if the employee will operate a motorized vehicle.
• Computer literacy, and must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English for all work-related purposes
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting required.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including weekends; on-call responsibilities; after-hours may be required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required in Georgia, Florida, Los Angeles, and North Carolina
• Ability to perform physical activities that require use of hands, arms and legs; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Service staff may need to use their own smartphone for certain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead multisite maintenance for two or more Vivmark Residential apartment communities.
• Direct a service team; manage requests, tasks, and daily operations.
• Inspect properties and perform repairs; schedule preventive maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; keep areas clean and safe.
• Handle on-call emergency service as required.
• Order and control maintenance inventory; prepare status reports for the Property Manager.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety requirements.
• Represent the company professionally to residents and staff.
