Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction from the start of the lease.

You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit checks, prepare leases, and assist residents through move-in and renewal, while executing on-site marketing plans and maintaining show-ready units.

Qualifications

• Leasing to new residents, processing applications, screening, and preparing leases.
• Greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, and ensuring smooth move-ins.

Responsibilities

• Leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including prospect greeting, tours, applications, credit and background checks, lease preparation, and move-in package.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate with maintenance for readiness.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including online listings and referrals.
• Utilize on-site software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Prepare leasing office for daily operations and ensure show-unit quality.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to finalize leases and renewals.
• Support lease renewal by preparing renewal letters and engaging renewing residents.
