Job summary

Beacon Credit Union is seeking an IT Hardware Technician to support and maintain office IT hardware, ensuring high system availability and professional cabling. The role includes on-site work at Seymour or Salem, IN, with regular travel to other Beacon locations as needed for installs and repairs.

The position requires 1–3 years of technical experience, familiarity with PCs, thin clients, peripherals, and basic networking; CompTIA A+ and Net+ are recommended. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of technical experience.
• Experience installing and configuring PCs, thin clients and peripheral hardware.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hardware and cabling at BCU offices to ensure devices run properly and look professional.
• Acts as initial contact for user IT issues; escalates with Infrastructure Services Team as needed.
• Configures and installs computers, thin clients, monitors, network gear, printers, scanners and related hardware; supports OS/software deployments.
