Job summary

Beacon Credit Union is seeking an IT Technician to support and maintain office hardware across multiple Indiana locations, ensuring high system availability and quality member service.

You will configure and install computers, thin clients, monitors, network gear and peripherals, troubleshoot issues, and travel regularly to keep sites operational across Crawfordsville, Mitchell, Orleans, Rushville, Richmond, Salem, Seymour, and Washington.

Qualifications

• One to three years of technical experience.
• In-depth knowledge of installing and configuring PCs, Thin Clients and peripheral hardware and software recommended.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory Services, DNS and DHCP is helpful.
• Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows and Linux) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hardware and cabling at office locations; ensures systems run properly and look professional.
• First point of contact for users; collaborates with Infrastructure Services and others to resolve issues.
• Configures and installs computers, thin clients, monitors, network gear, printers and peripherals; upgrades OS and software.
