Job summary

Skywood Recovery Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an IT Support specialist to provide Tier 1/2 Help Desk support across locations. You will install, configure and secure hardware, software and networks, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with HQ for equipment orders and deployments.

You will handle end-user IT tasks, train users on processes, and maintain documentation while working in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment at Augusta, MI.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Certifications MCSE, CCNA, A+, Net+, Security+ or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides Tier 1 and 2 Help Desk support to users at Skywood Recovery Center.
• Prepare, install and support hardware, systems and software.
• Assist with installation, configuration, security and maintenance of network services and equipment.
• Oversee software, network and file security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications, networks, viruses and spam; coordinate with HQ engineers.
• Coordinate with HQ prior to ordering servers, desktops, printers and equipment.
• Provide basic training on IT processes or applications as needed.
• Use ticketing system to record issues and track resolutions.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly procedures documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Corporate IT.
