Job summary

Ford Office Technologies is seeking a reliable IT Field Support Technician to visit client sites and provide Tier 1 IT support. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, set up user accounts, and support Microsoft 365 across multiple environments.

The role requires hands-on, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently on varied field assignments and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school or related work experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years working in a professional helpdesk environment.
• A strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, and other network protocols is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, Outlook, and client-specific programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up new user accounts and profiles and handle password issues.
• Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops and printers.
• Support the training and roll-out of new applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 accounts and services.
• Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at one time by maintaining files and records.
