Job summary

ARaymond is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist to lead HSE programs at the Rochester Hills and Lake Orion locations in Michigan. You will implement, coordinate, and improve safety trainings, ensure OSHA/MIOSHA compliance, and partner with plant leadership to foster a proactive safety culture.

The role requires at least five years in manufacturing HSE, a bachelor’s in safety or related field, and ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment emphasizing health, safety, and training.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA/MIOSHA and MDEQ regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 or similar HSE management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite HSE resource and lead compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA, EPA/EGLE and ARaymond standards.
• Lead incident investigations and apply root-cause methodologies.
• Develop, schedule, and deliver required safety training (LOTO, PPE, machine safety).
• Maintain and update emergency response plans and manage HSE audits and reporting obligations.
• Support cross-location HSE initiatives and travel up to 10%.
