Job summary

ARaymond is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist for our Rochester Hills, MI and Lake Orion, MI locations. You will implement and continuously improve HSE programs, lead hazard-reduction initiatives, investigations, and standardize NA region safety systems across plants.

The role requires collaboration with plant leadership, employees, and NA HSE Manager to foster a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA, EPA/EGLE standards, and ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment emphasizing health, safety, and training.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA/MIOSHA and MDEQ regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 or similar HSE management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite HSE resource.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA/EGLE, and ARaymond standards.
• Lead hazard-reduction initiatives and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) / Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for high-risk tasks.
• Lead annual drills and emergency response planning.
• Support multi-site HSE programs and audits.
