Job summary

ARaymond is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist to lead HSE programs at the Rochester Hills, MI and Lake Orion, MI sites. You will drive OSHA/MIOSHA compliance, manage incident investigations, and standardize HSE practices across NA operations.

You will design and deliver safety training, maintain JHAs/JSAs, and support environmental programs while collaborating with plant leadership. Travel between MI sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing HSE experience and training.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA/MIOSHA and MDEQ regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 or similar HSE systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite HSE resource.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA/EGLE and ARaymond HSE standards.
• Remotely support the Mexico location to standardize NA HSE systems.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, annual summaries, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead JHAs/JSAs for high-risk tasks and review controls.
• Design, schedule, and deliver required safety training (LOTO, forklift, PPE).
• Maintain training documentation and audit readiness for OSHA/MIOSHA and EPA/EGLE.
• Identify HSE training needs and develop competency testing.
• Support onboarding safety orientation for new hires.
• Assist environmental programs (waste handling, spill response, stormwater/air checks).
• Conduct and lead internal and external HSE audits.
• Participate in NA and Global EHS meetings and projects.
• Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and drive corrective actions.
• Lead proactive safety initiatives and safety communications.
