Job summary

ARaymond is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist to implement and continually improve HSE programs across our metals manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on hazard reduction, incident investigations, and alignment with ISO 14001/45001 principles.

The position collaborates with production, maintenance, engineering, quality and leadership to manage risks from stamping presses, heat treatment, gases and related operations, ensuring a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment emphasizing health, safety, and training.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. OSHA and EPA/state environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite HSE resource.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA/EGLE and ARaymond HSE standards.
• Lead hazard analyses and JHA/JSAs for high-risk tasks.
• Coordinate incident investigations using root-cause methods (5-Why, Fishbone).
• Develop, deliver, and maintain required safety training (LOTO, PPE, machine safety).
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, annual summaries, and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Support multi-site HSE programs and environmental compliance activities.
• Assist with emergency response planning and drills.
