Job summary

Ascent Aerospace is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead Michigan operations and support Bothell and Buffalo locations. You will partner with leaders to align workforce strategies with business goals, oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management, and ensure compliance across multiple sites.

The role requires strong HR expertise, business acumen, and a hands-on approach to build a high-performing organization while maintaining company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive HR experience with independent responsibility for employee relations.
• Ability to coach managers through difficult situations and influence operational leaders.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, performance management, compensation, development, and compliance.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations with discretion and sound judgment.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into workforce strategies and hold leaders accountable.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, org structures, and succession planning.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention for multiple Michigan sites and nearby locations.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
• Investigate and resolve employee concerns, escalations, and HR issues.
• Drive performance management practices and address underperformance promptly.
