Ascent Aerospace, LLC in Michigan is seeking a Human Resources Manager – Michigan Site Lead to align workforce strategies with business objectives across Michigan, Bothell, WA, and Buffalo, NY. Reporting to the VP, HR, this role partners with operational leaders to drive talent management, workforce planning, leadership development, employee relations, and organizational improvement.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• < 7+ years of progressive HR experience with employee relations and partner with operational leaders.
• < Experience conducting workplace investigations with discretion and confidentiality.
• < Strong HR practices knowledge: recruitment, performance management, compensation, development, compliance.
• < Willingness to travel to assigned locations; export control requirements (US Person).

Responsabilités

• Serve as a trusted business partner to operational leadership and translate objectives into workforce strategies.
• Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, staffing, and succession planning; address gaps and ensure continuity.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding for assigned locations and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance expectations, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct investigations and coordinate escalation with HR leadership as needed.
• Drive consistent performance management practices across locations and address underperformance.
• Develop leadership across locations by coaching managers and addressing leadership gaps.
• Promote a culture of respect, safety, and continuous improvement; support retention efforts.
• Implement and administer HR policies; support compensation and recognition processes.
• Maintain HRIS records, analyze metrics, and report progress to leadership.
• Travel to other site locations as business needs require; support ITAR compliance.
