Job summary

Twin Valley Coffee is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and general building upkeep across multiple locations. You will troubleshoot espresso equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems while maintaining records and coordinating with vendors.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, strong problem-solving, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in restaurant or commercial beverage equipment.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Comfortable using a CMMS (MaintainX) to manage work orders.
• Strong self-direction and problem-solving; first responder on site.
• Ability to prioritize multiple issues across locations.
• Strong organizational, record-keeping, and documentation with photos.
• Good communication across all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and contractors.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between locations; background checks.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings for snow removal and after-hours support.
• Familiar with Google Suite.
• OSHA 10 training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for maintenance issues at all TVC locations.
• Record parts used and labor time on work orders; maintain accurate history.
• Repair and troubleshoot cafe equipment (espresso machines, filtration, cold brew taps).
• Support production equipment and general building repairs.
• Attend vendor preventive maintenance visits and maintain service records.
• Perform after-hours trunk line cleaning as scheduled.
• Maintain exterior areas and seasonal grounds preparation.
• Prepare sites for winter weather and snow removal.
• Monitor building safety issues and coordinate with vendors for follow-up.
• Assist with health department and FDA inspection readiness and sanitation records.
• Build relationships with vendors, scheduling maintenance and tracking repairs.
• Keep asset inventory for quarterly insurance audits.
• Flag equipment needs for budget approval and provide cost estimates.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean and fueled; report service needs.
• Develop daily plans to coordinate maintenance across locations.
• Prepare facilities for weather changes and seasonal needs.
• Answer after-hours maintenance calls and support events as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
