Job summary

Mid-State Fluid Transfer Products is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting across two locations. The role blends machine maintenance with general building upkeep, requiring strong diagnostic abilities and the flexibility to work across sites.

You will communicate with vendors and service teams, maintain records, and support reliability and uptime for critical equipment in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine and building maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer-enabled for vendor and service coordination.
• Dependable and able to work independently across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and routine servicing of machinery
• Diagnose and repair issues related to air, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Support ongoing machine reliability and uptime
• Handle general building maintenance including electrical, heating/cooling, plumbing
• Maintain structural components (doors, windows, roof, gutters)
• Communicate with vendors, service technicians, alarm companies, and municipal/fire inspectors
• Maintain computerized records and service coordination
