Job summary

Niles Enterprises is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and improvement of multiple properties in Michigan and other locations. You will manage leases, coordinate with landlords and contractors, and lead safety, compliance, and efficiency initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-location facilities programs and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, building, property, construction, or related management.
• Experience coordinating multiple locations, vendors, and service providers.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to travel to company locations, including out-of-state properties, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, operation, condition, and appearance of multiple properties.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency response.
• Manage lease agreements, tracking terms, renewals, obligations, and contract compliance.
• Maintain landlord relationships and coordinate with landlords on responsibilities.
• Source, negotiate, and manage third-party contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Manage construction and improvement projects, including budgets, timelines, and scopes.
• Collaborate with Ownership and leadership to set project scope and expectations.
• Monitor vendor performance, costs, schedules, quality, and compliance.
• Develop plans to improve facility efficiency, sustainability, and operating costs.
• Forecast future facility needs and present recommendations to leadership.
