Job summary

Acelero Learning is seeking an Operations & Facilities Coordinator to supervise facilities teams across Head Start sites, perform hands-on maintenance, manage work orders, and coordinate with vendors. You will lead safety protocols, oversee fleet operations, and support procurement and budgets.

The role requires supervisory and maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 10%. CPSI is a plus. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience leading facilities or operational staff across multiple sites.
• Practical hands-on facilities maintenance and repairs experience.
• Experience using databases; ticketing portal or scheduling software preferred.
• Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) preferred but not required.
• Travel up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facilities and maintenance staff across multiple Head Start locations, ensuring consistent safety and operations.
• Perform routine, preventive, and minor repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, fixtures, and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Manage work order tickets, prioritize requests, and coordinate with vendors for completion.
• Coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring contract compliance.
• Lead emergency and safety protocols and maintain disaster plans across sites.
• Oversee fleet operations, including registrations, inspections, insurance, and maintenance scheduling.
• Control inventory and procurement of janitorial and building supplies, with accurate expense reporting.
