Job summary

Acelero Learning is seeking an Operations & Facilities Coordinator to oversee day-to-day facility operations, safety compliance, and hands-on maintenance across Head Start sites. This role combines supervisory leadership with practical tasks to ensure safe, compliant, and fully operational learning environments for children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience leading facilities or operational staff across multiple sites.
• Hands-on facilities maintenance and repairs experience.
• 4 years of experience using databases; ticketing portal experience preferred.
• Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) preferred but not required.
• Travel up to 10% of time for meetings and functions.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facilities and maintenance team across multiple Head Start locations.
• Perform routine, preventative, and minor repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC).
• Manage work order tickets and assign tasks.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors ensuring quality and compliance.
• Lead emergency and safety protocols across sites.
• Manage transportation fleet operations incl. inspections and insurance.
• Control inventory, purchasing, and expense reporting.
• Assist Director of Operations on procedures and lease reviews and strategic initiatives.
