Job summary

Omaha Catholic Schools Consortium Office is seeking a Facilities Manager to coordinate day-to-day operations across the consortium's six schools. You will plan maintenance, manage capital projects, supervise staff, and ensure safety compliance in collaboration with parish leadership and contractors.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coordinate bids, vendor services, and schedule preventive maintenance while driving efficiency and consistent standards across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum five years progressively responsible experience in facilities management, maintenance, construction, or building operations.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Experience managing vendor contracts and capital projects.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations across all Consortium schools in collaboration with school principals, parish leadership, and maintenance staff.
• Plan maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate vendor services and contractor performance.
• Work with school principals, parish leadership, and vendors.
• Monitor building conditions and develop maintenance plans.
• Assist in long-term facilities maintenance and capital plans.
• Lead annual Catholic Mutual safety audit and corrective actions.
• Maintain emergency response procedures with school leadership.
