Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a Boston market portfolio of cafés and catering locations. You will ensure safety, maintenance, and efficient operations, reporting to the Director of Facilities.

You will lead a team of technicians, manage vendor contracts, and drive proactive facility strategies while supporting expansion into new markets. A strong operations mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of related facilities experience.
• Experience overseeing multi-site facilities and capex projects.
• Experience using a facilities management platform (Service Channel preferred).
• Ability to influence change and drive results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work days, nights or weekends as needed.
• Familiarity with leases and service contracts.
• Able to read construction plans and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities across the Boston market portfolio and future markets.
• Manage Service Channel platform and repairs with preventative maintenance.
• Ensure locations are safe and compliant through on-site audits.
• Lead Facilities Technician team and provide coaching.
• Be on call for emergencies 24/7.
• Manage budgets for vendor maintenance and capex.
• Negotiate quotes and approve vendor invoices.
• Lead special projects to improve or relocate facilities.
