Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café is seeking a Facilities Technician to repair and maintain our café, bakery, and catering kitchen assets. You will work independently under the Facilities Manager and collaborate with Operations, Culinary, IT, and Food Safety teams to keep facilities safe and compliant with codes.

This full-time, field-based role may require evening, weekend, and on-call coverage based on business needs. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, educate cafe managers, and help control repair

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or construction experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company van.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned repairs and maintenance at cafés, catering kitchens, and bakery facilities.
• Perform minor repairs to café infrastructure (carpentry, doors, furniture, tiling).
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Culinary, IT, Food Safety, and Beverage teams.
• Educate café managers on preventive care and maintenance.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.
