Job summary

Pressed Cafe is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the functionality, safety, and maintenance of our cafés across the market. This on-the-ground role requires frequent on-site presence in our Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations, collaborating with General Managers, vendors, and construction teams to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will lead maintenance programs, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and support expansion projects as we grow.

Qualifications

• . 4+ years of facilities management, property maintenance, restaurant operations, or related experience.
• . Experience supporting multi-site operations.
• . Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and general maintenance.
• . Experience managing vendors, service contracts, and repair budgets.
• . Prioritize multiple projects and respond quickly to urgent situations.
• . Strong communication skills with a service-first mindset.
• . Cross-functional collaboration with operations, construction, and leadership.
• . Familiar with work order systems (ServiceChannel or similar).
• . Hospitality or restaurant facilities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a consistent, on-site presence across our cafés, spending the majority of your week in locations throughout the market.
• Conduct frequent site visits, audits, and walkthroughs to ensure facilities are safe, compliant, clean, and operating effectively.
• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for multiple Pressed Cafe locations, diagnosing issues firsthand and guiding café teams.
• Build strong relationships with General Managers and café leaders; know their buildings, equipment, and pain points.
• Meet vendors on site to scope work, oversee repairs, and approve quality before sign-off.
• Respond in person to urgent maintenance or operational emergencies, including after-hours support.
