Job summary

Midland Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to maintain and operate our three distribution centers. This hands-on position covers preventive maintenance, repairs, vendor coordination, and supporting warehouse operations to keep facilities safe, clean, and fully functional.

The role is non-exempt and hourly, with a standard 40-hour week and occasional overtime, travel between sites, and after-hours work as needed. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or building operations experience.
• Strong hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and basic electrical work.
• Ability to work with vendors and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across three distribution centers.
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee service providers.
• Support small construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
• Assist warehouse team with packing, receiving, and deliveries as needed.
• Safely operate tools and equipment and promote a safe working environment.
• Document maintenance work and communicate facility needs to leadership.
• Travel between locations to perform maintenance and support operations.
