Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki is seeking a senior EHS leader to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs at Chicopee and Holyoke facilities. You will drive EMS/ISO 14001, OSHA compliance, and regulatory reporting while partnering with site leadership.

You will coach and develop the EHS team, manage risk, investigations, training, and audits, and collaborate with HR, operations and external regulators. A Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years in EHS in manufacturing are required; CSP/CIH preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM or OSHA 30 preferred; valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3–5 years of direct reports management in EHS/manufacturing.
• 5–7 years of EHS experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience with coaching and development.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to influence across management levels and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Foster safety culture and environmental stewardship.
• Develop and lead EMS/ISO 14001 programs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee OSHA compliance, regulatory reporting, audits and inspections.
• Lead EHS team; coach and develop specialists; set goals and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with HR, operations, regulators and cross-functional teams.
• Manage contractor safety, site security and risk management initiatives.
