Job summary

Futaba North America is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to plan, develop, organize, and manage the EHS function at our Bloomingdale, IL headquarters. You will lead safe workplace practices, regulatory compliance, audits, and risk management while guiding EHS teams across sites, including Futaba Japan.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing EHS, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and CSP or SMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive EHS management experience in multi-site manufacturing.
• OSHA/WHMIS/TDG/ISO 14001 knowledge essential; CSP or SMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated EHS programs aligning with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead audits and ensure regulatory compliance across sites.
• Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Japan office to implement EHS strategies.
• Oversee budgets and allocate resources for EHS initiatives.
