Job summary

LightEdge Solutions seeks a Multi-Site Data Center Operations Manager to lead DCOPS technicians and daily operations across assigned sites. Based in Lewisville, TX or St. Louis, MO, the role blends hands-on support with remote leadership of small teams working at remote locations.

Travel for onsite oversight and project support is required. The manager oversees rack-level operations, deployments, incident response, staffing, and service quality.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant data center operations experience including leading technicians or teams.
• Ability to manage distributed staff across multiple locations and coordinate with remote sites.
• Hands-on experience with server/network hardware, rack PDUs, cabling, and inventory controls.
• Knowledge of rack power, airflow, access controls, and colocation operations.
• Experience with ticketing systems, change management, incident response, and customer-facing service delivery.
• Strong communication, organization, and independent leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Lewisville, travel to sites, and cover on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead DCOPS technicians across multiple sites and establish priorities and performance expectations.
• Coach and develop staff through regular meetings, onsite visits, and performance reviews; support recruiting and onboarding.
• Plan staffing, scheduling, and coverage; coordinate with remote-hands services as needed.
• Conduct regular site visits and maintain accountability between visits.
• Oversee rack-level operations and ensure deployments, migrations, upgrades, and decommissions are completed on schedule.
