Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT services across our corporate office and expanding data center portfolio. You will own run-the-business IT operations, infrastructure health, backups, and network availability while guiding a team of systems, network, and helpdesk professionals.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive IT infrastructure and operations experience.
• 2+ years directly managing or leading technical staff.
• Hands-on depth in Windows & Linux Server administration, Microsoft 365 admin, virtualization, and backup/recovery operations.
• Solid enterprise networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless).
• Experience running or improving an ITSM practice and service reporting.
• Experience supporting multi-site infrastructure and data center deployments.
• Security and compliance operations knowledge with ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2, PCI DSS familiarity.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% to regional and new-build sites; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team with 1:1s and growth plans.
• Own IT service delivery outcomes, SLA performance, queue health, and leadership reporting.
• Remain hands-on across core stack and serve as senior technical escalation point.
• Travel to lead IT scope of new data center site deployments and go-live support.
• Oversee patching, vulnerability remediation, backups, and capacity planning.
• Partner with security leadership on Grafana observability builds and audits.
