Job summary

Hearst’s Louisville-based CBS affiliate is seeking an Account Executive to sell advertising to local businesses and negotiate impressions and rates with ad agencies. You will solicit new business for TV and web, report to the Local Sales Manager, and join a talented team delivering multi-platform marketing solutions to grow our client base.

Responsibilities include generating revenue across platforms, presenting to new prospects, developing local business, and delivering compelling proposals

Qualifications

• 1+ years in media or digital sales or related field.
• Experience developing new business and non-traditional revenue.
• Strong negotiation and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue across TV and digital platforms.
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses.
• Develop revenue through local business development.
• Form strategic partnerships and manage active accounts.
• Create sales proposals aligned with station strategies.
• Meet individual sales goals while contributing to the team.
