Job summary

Hearst Television in Sacramento is seeking an Account Executive to sell multiplatform advertising solutions with emphasis on new business development. In-person attendance is required; you will report to the Local Sales Manager.

This role focuses on revenue growth across television and digital platforms through strategic presentations to local businesses and agencies, leveraging media know-how and strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Sales and/or marketing experience in media is preferred.
• Proven track record with new business development.
• Accountability within a goal-structured organization.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Wide Orbit, Kantar and WO Media Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve established revenue expectations across multiple platforms.
• Proactively drive new business by prospecting and researching new accounts.
• Identify and cultivate local relationships to influence advertising purchasing decisions.
• Develop strategies for sales presentations for new and existing clients across TV and digital platforms.
• Prepare and implement account strategies to grow revenue from existing clients.
• Utilize research to support marketing solutions and customer goals.
• Stay current with industry trends and client business news.
• Keep sales management informed of progress toward revenue goals.
