Job summary

NewsChannel 5 Network in Nashville seeks a high-performing Account Executive to grow local businesses with multi-platform marketing solutions across TV, OTT, digital, social, and email targeting. You will build customized campaigns, analyze client needs, and close new business with strategic proposals.

Leverage the Scripps portfolio, manage a CRM-driven sales funnel, and deliver measurable results while developing lasting client relationships in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• Generally, 2+ years of proven sales success are preferred.
• Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings, and digital execution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies.
• Apply the SSP to analyze customer needs and tailor advertising solutions that maximize ROI.
• Facilitate digital marketing options beyond TV airtime to drive multi-platform campaigns.
• Independently prospect, secure appointments, perform needs analysis, develop and close customized solutions.
• Negotiate rates using ratings data and market trends to maximize revenue and create new solutions.
