Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Floating Batching Operator to support Ready Mix operations across Central, Southern, Western, and Eastern Maryland.

You will operate and monitor batch plants, ensure batch designs are followed, and help maintain quality while covering multiple locations. This role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in Ready Mix or concrete production, and the ability to travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in Ready Mix, concrete or related industrial setting.
• Travel 25-50%.
• Ability to operate and monitor batch plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Float across Ready Mix batch plants in Central, Southern, Western, and Eastern Maryland based on operational needs.
• Operate and monitor batch plants to ensure accurate production.
• Follow mix designs to maintain concrete quality.
• Maintain batch tickets and production records.
• Coordinate with dispatch and drivers for on-time deliveries.
• Ensure safety, environmental and company procedures.
