Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a District Manager to lead multi-plant operations, drive performance, and build strong teams across locations. You’ll manage production, dispatch, maintenance, and delivery while upholding SRM’s safety and quality standards.

You will guide district teams, optimize schedules, monitor KPIs, and ensure exceptional customer service. A strong background in ready-mix operations and leadership is preferred, with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on understanding of ready-mix operations is preferred.
• Experience leading dispatch, logistics, or high-paced ops.
• Knowledge of plant maintenance and preventative maintenance is a plus.
• Strong customer service background with professional problem solving.
• Proficiency with MS Office and operational software for data and KPI reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production, dispatch, maintenance, and delivery across multiple plants.
• Direct dispatch teams to optimize scheduling and on-time delivery.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and plant upkeep to minimize downtime.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, addressing concerns promptly.
• Analyze performance data and KPIs to drive improvements and cost control.
• Coach plant managers, supervisors, drivers, and dispatch staff.
• Uphold Safety & Quality Standards per SRM principles and DOT/environmental rules.
• Monitor budgets, labor efficiency, and equipment utilization.
