Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a District Manager to lead multi-plant operations, oversee dispatch and maintenance, and drive financial performance across locations. You will mentor plant managers, optimize routes, uphold safety standards, and build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Top candidates bring 5+ years of leadership in concrete or heavy operations, hands-on maintenance knowledge, and a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Hands-on understanding of ready-mix operations, batching and delivery.
• Experience managing dispatch, logistics, or high-paced operations.
• Knowledge of plant maintenance, safety standards and reliability.
• Strong customer service background with professional communication.
• Tech-savvy and data-driven with MS Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-plant operations including production, dispatch, maintenance and delivery.
• Guide dispatch teams to optimize scheduling, routing and on-time delivery.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and plant upkeep to minimize downtime.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a solutions mindset.
• Use technology and data to monitor KPIs, costs and performance.
• Coach plant managers, supervisors, drivers and dispatch personnel.
• Ensure safety and quality, and drive district profitability.
