Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, LP is seeking a Learning Solutions Designer to create high-quality learning content across eLearning, ILT, microlearning, and blended formats. You will produce scripts, storyboards, and assets, ensuring governance and accessibility standards are met.

Collaborate with SMEs and senior staff to capture requirements, iterate content, and refresh materials as processes evolve. Strong writing, design craft, and AI-enabled tooling are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in instructional design or related field.
• 3+ years in instructional design in a corporate setting.
• 2–3 years designing learning solutions across modalities (eLearning, ILT, microlearning, blended).
• Strong proficiency with authoring tools and LMS basics (SCORM/xAPI).
• Experience creating/editing videos and familiarity with AI-enabled tools.
• Knowledge of ADDIE/SAM models and adult learning theory; inclusive content design.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content across modalities (eLearning, ILT, microlearning, blended).
• Produces scripts, storyboards, and learning assets aligned with templates and governance.
• Builds interactive modules, videos, graphics, and supporting materials using authoring tools.
• Ensures outputs are polished, inclusive, and performance-driven.
• Collaborates with SMEs and stakeholders to capture requirements and refine solutions.
• Updates content to reflect process or system changes and participates in reviews.
