Job summary

Gartner seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to design and develop multimodal learning experiences, including e-learning, ILT, and AI role plays. You will create interactive content, collaborate with SMEs and business leaders, and evolve programs to improve quality and discoverability for client-facing roles.

The role requires proficiency with Articulate 360 and video editing tools, with on-site work near Gartner COE locations in Irving, TX or Fort Myers, FL.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of learning experience with an emphasis in instructional design, in a corporate environment preferred
• Proven experience designing and managing blended learning experiences and full instructional design cycle: analysis, design, development, implementation and delivery
• Experience designing learning for client-facing or revenue-generating roles preferred
• Experience with learning technology platforms such as LMS and AI-enabled tools
• Exceptional writing, design and editing skills
• Creativity and resourcefulness to solve problems and develop innovative learning solutions
• Ability to pivot and remain agile in a rapidly evolving environment
• Highly effective execution with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Articulate 360, including Rise and Storyline
• Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Must be located within a 60-minute radius of Gartner COE locations in Irving, TX or Fort Myers, FL

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multimodal learning experiences and programs, including e-learning, instructor-led learning, virtual learning environments, performance support, job aids, playbooks and AI role plays
• Create interactive content using authoring systems and software applications, applying instructional design principles
• Collaborate with team members, subject-matter experts and business leaders to develop, implement and evolve learning experiences
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality, personalization and discoverability of learning materials
• Develop working knowledge of Gartner’s business, especially client-facing roles
• Draw on subject-matter expertise for content development
• Oversee activities while adhering to project scope, timelines, budget and priorities
• Ensure instructional content meets quality standards and supports learning outcomes
• Report to the Manager, Learning and Development
