Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support employees and managers across multiple facilities in our wholesale parts distribution business.

This hands-on role covers employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and day-to-day HR support. The HR Generalist serves as the primary HR resource for several locations, manages recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, and maintains accurate HRIS data while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1-3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience supporting hourly, warehouse, distribution, or similar employees preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
• Experience with an HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR resource for employees and managers across locations.
• Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee offboarding.
• Handle employee relations, attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters.
• Coach managers on HR policies, performance management, and employee issues.
• Administer benefits and maintain accurate HRIS information.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
• Coordinate employee training, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
• Partner with facility leadership to improve retention and employee experience.
• Travel between facilities as needed (a few times per year).
