Café Hospitality is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and support month‑end close for multiple restaurant locations. You will work closely with operations and HR/payroll to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities include posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts and third‑party platforms, and importing Toast POS data into QuickBooks Online while resolving discrepancies across systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi‑unit operations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Toast POS.
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail.

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, sales deposits, and third‑party delivery platforms.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger across multiple restaurant locations.
• Assist with month‑end close, including accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and process accounts payable, ensuring proper coding and approval workflows.
• Work directly with Toast POS to reconcile daily sales, payment methods, tips, voids, discounts, and cash deposits.
• Import, validate, and reconcile Toast POS sales data into QuickBooks Online; identify and resolve discrepancies between systems.
• Maintain accurate financial records for each location and support multi‑unit reporting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management, including variance analysis.
• Assist with audit support, documentation requests, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, HR/payroll, and management to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, retail, or multi‑unit operations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Required) — including bank feeds, reconciliations, class/location tracking, and reporting.
• Experience with Toast POS or similar restaurant POS systems (Required).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data cleanup).
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with multi‑location or franchise accounting.
• Strong understanding of restaurant sales flows, tips, payroll, and daily cash management.
