Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an Area Customer Service Coordinator to support multiple locations across Downtown San Francisco and occasional sites in San Rafael. This temp-to-hire role covers diverse environments from law firms to retail and warehouses, with a focus on exceptional service.

As a floating team member, you’ll handle mail, shipping, reception, and general admin while ensuring smooth operations and safety standards across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months of customer service or related experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Dependable transportation to travel between locations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Mail services.
• Shipping and receiving.
• Copy and production center operations.
• Reception and front desk support.
• Hospitality services.
• Conference room setup and management.
• General customer service and administrative support.
• Daily responsibilities may vary depending on the customer site assignment and business needs.
• Support daily operations for contracted services across multiple customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a customer-focused environment.
• Serve as a flexible resource to cover absences, vacations, training periods, and new site implementations.
• Assist with onboarding and cross‑training team members.
• Help develop and maintain site procedure guides and operational best practices.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Escalate customer concerns appropriately and assist in achieving resolution.
• Communicate effectively with customers, client personnel, and Ricoh leadership.
• Collect operational data and support reporting activities.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and service enhancements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
