Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to verify and process invoices across nine plant locations using KBM and QAD ERP systems. You will ensure proper expense authorization, code invoices, and maintain strong controls in a high-volume office.

This contract role in Canton, OH requires Excel proficiency, meticulous data entry, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable in a high-volume office.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP/accounting system.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Accurate math, data entry, and record-keeping skills.
• Experience with KBM or QAD AP systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify accounts payable documentation for nine plant locations.
• Match invoice quantities and prices to purchase orders and receiving reports to confirm accuracy.
• Review and code invoices with correct general ledger expense classifications.
• Document, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
• Input coded invoices into the KBM Integrated Accounts Payable system and validate data accuracy.
