Job summary

CBT Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable to perform advanced AP functions and support month-end close. You will lead the corporate credit card program and resolve complex vendor issues, while guiding the AP team and providing technical support.

The role requires strong data entry, ERP and Excel skills, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing in a mid-sized industrial distribution setting. On-site in Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume business-to-business Accounts Payable position.
• Must have a stable and progressive work history.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all Accounts Payable processes.
• Provide support for high-volume vendor invoice processing.
• Research and resolve invoice, PO, and payment discrepancies with internal teams and vendors.
• Review vendor statement process and assist in resolving issues.
• Oversee resolution of EDI transaction exceptions.
• Assist with AP processing during high-volume periods.
• Lead the corporate credit card program and reconciliations.
• Serve as primary contact for the Accounting email inbox.
