Qualifications

• Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Virginia Life & Health Insurance License.
• At least three years of personal lines insurance sales experience.
• Strong understanding of policy coverage forms and underwriting guidelines.
• Proven track record of growing a book of business.
• Experience with agency management systems.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to ensure proper protection for homes, vehicles, and families.
• Manage own pipeline and seek opportunities in the Charlottesville community.
• Review policies at renewal to keep pace with life changes.
• Explain insurance concepts in plain language to clients.
• Maintain data accuracy and policy documentation.
• Collaborate with internal support staff to handle requests swiftly and carefully.
