Job summary

5 West Group is seeking a prudent Leasing Agent to manage the day-to-day operations of assigned multi-family properties, aiming to maximize occupancy and tenant satisfaction while supporting overall asset value.

The role includes responding to leasing leads in real time, coordinating marketing and rent collection, working with the Property Manager, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing rules and company policies; occasional site travel may be required to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Leasing Agent in multi-family housing.
• Strong understanding of property management best practices and financials.
• Proficient in MS Office and property management software.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations of multi-family properties ensuring smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company regulations
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
• Respond to leasing leads in real time via phone and email
• Support marketing, leasing, maintenance, and rent collection efforts
• Help control expenses, and support revenue growth
• Work closely with Property Manager/Assistant Property Manager to meet performance goals
