Vaco by Highspring seeks a Corporate Accountant in San Francisco to support day-to-day accounting for portfolio companies and investment-related activities. You will work closely with senior accounting leadership on GAAP-compliant entries, month-end close, and reporting across multiple entities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; corporate or public preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems and spend management platforms.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Support month-end close, accruals, adjustments, and related reporting.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and support timely payments and collections.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and related journal entries.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Support internal controls and accounting policies.
