Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Irvine, CA seeks an accomplished accounting leader to maintain continuity, strengthen processes, and drive reporting accuracy within a multi-entity structure. You will partner with the existing accounting team, overseeing GAAP-compliant statements, close processes, consolidations, and intercompany accounting while leading process improvements during a period of change.

This role requires hands-on leadership and deep expertise in audit support and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Audit support and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of audit-ready, GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and period-end close processes.
• Manage and review consolidations across multiple legal entities.
• Maintain and strengthen intercompany accounting processes.
• Support audit readiness and financial reporting quality.
• Provide hands-on leadership to a team of accounting professionals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
