Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management-level accounting or finance experience.
• Real estate industry experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong technical and operational accounting background across GL, AR, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany, sales tax, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multi-entity close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts receivable, purchases/accounts payable, FP&A, debt, equity, fixed assets, and other functions across the organization.
• Provide actionable financial insights to senior leadership and monitor monthly results.
• Develop and mentor accounting and FP&A teams and scale the financial infrastructure.
• Coordinate tax filings and external audits; ensure 1099 compliance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across finance.
