Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department retail setting.

• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience reading margin and weekly sales reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments (Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Beer/Wine).
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor costs to optimize productivity.
• Ensure product freshness, rotation, and date controls; enforce safety standards.
• Assist with store prep for inventory counts and receiving deliveries.
• Coach and evaluate team members; participate in bi-annual reviews and promotions.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to staff; lead by example.
