Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead multiple customer-focused departments with a total team approach, delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will oversee daily store operations, coaching staff, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring product freshness and safety while driving profitability and guest satisfaction. This role requires flexible hours, strong leadership, and a passion for healthy living.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience within a multi-department operation.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers.
• Proven leadership to motivate and maintain staff, with knowledge of personnel reports and financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with federal/state regulations for product safety and sanitation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; capable of flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are properly handled and rotated for freshness, with date controls.
• Control costs by monitoring and improving operations; manage labor costs and reduce loss.
• Assist in store preparation for physical inventory counts.
• Oversee unloading of trucks and verify deliveries against invoices; report shortages/overages.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and department safety.
• Coach and develop team members; participate in bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings and recruit/hire with Store Manager.
• Address team member concerns with independent judgment and appropriate corrective actions.
• Create and adjust schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members.
• Lead a team delivering high-quality products and best-in-class service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
