Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead multiple departments, including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine. You will drive sales, control costs, and coach a team to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to support merchandising, inventory, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department retail environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to give and take direction in a team setting.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers and staff.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate staff and achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Control costs by monitoring labor, shrink, waste, and profitability.
• Prepare store for physical inventory and assist with deliveries and invoices.
• Oversee truck unloads, verify deliveries, and report shortages or overages.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and department safety.
• Coach team members and participate in performance reviews; deliver feedback.
• Attend in-store meetings and assist with promotions and events.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
