A leading automotive group in California is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to oversee accounting operations across multiple dealerships. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy and compliance while leading office teams. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in the auto industry and excel in a fast-paced environment. Responsabilités

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Manage and mentor office staff across multiple rooftops.
• Work closely with General Managers to provide financial insights.

We are currently seeking an experiencedAutomotiveControllerto oversee accounting operations across ourGenesis,Hyundai, Mazda, and Volkswagendealerships. This role is critical inensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance whilesupporting dealership leadership in driving performance and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all accounting functions including generalledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statementsin accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines
• Ensure compliance with internal controls,policies, and procedures
• Manage and mentor office staff across multiplerooftops
• Reconcile schedules and maintain clean, accuratebooks
• Work closely with General Managers to providefinancial insights and operational support
• Coordinate audits and ensure timely tax andregulatory filings
• Maintain strong relationships with OEM partnersand corporate leadership

MUST-HAVES

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the auto industry performing workin various office operations, including accounting and management.
• Comfortability and experience with a fast-paced, multitasked autodealership type environment
• Expert proficiency in MS Excel

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Operating a Reynolds and Reynolds DMS system
• 4-year college degree in a related field: accounting, HR, businessor management
• Computer literate in MS office and other software; comfortabilityrunning and learning various technology platforms or paperless systems
