Job summary

Crossroads Hyundai is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to oversee centralized accounting for multiple dealerships from our Loveland, Colorado office. The role demands leadership of a centralized team and strong financial reporting across locations, including New Mexico.

The ideal candidate will drive accuracy, maintain internal controls, and collaborate with general managers and executives to optimize processes and ensure timely closings.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership controller experience is required.
• Dealertrack DMS experience strongly preferred.
• Multi-dealership or centralized accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive dealership accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and floorplan management.
• Proven experience supervising and developing accounting teams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple dealerships, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple automotive dealerships.
• Lead, train, and supervise centralized accounting personnel.
• Manage month-end closings and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and accounting schedules.
• Oversee floorplan accounting, cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor dealership financial performance and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate manufacturer financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with dealership accounting procedures.
• Work closely with dealership general managers and executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure all accounting deadlines and reporting requirements are consistently met.

Crossroads Hyundai is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Automotive Controller to oversee centralized accounting operations for multiple dealerships located in New Mexico. This position is based at our centralized accounting office in Loveland, Colorado.
